Students should be 15-17 years of age when starting driver ed. A student 14 years of age may enter and start the program, but can not receive an instruction permit or in-car driving lessons until they are 15 years of age.

    Perfect for students who have completed the classroom portion elsewhere and need the required driving instruction.

    • 14 hours behind-the-wheel instruction (7 hours drive/ 7 hours observation)

    • Road Test Preparation Session

    Students MUST already have their Texas Learner's Permit and will be required to transfer the BTW (behind the wheel) instruction from the student's online program provider to our driving school before their first driving lesson.

  • Supplemental Behind-the-Wheel for Teens

    Take three hours of additional one-on-one driving lessons to assess your skills, work on specific maneuvers, or gain more experience driving to pass the DPS Road Test. Students MUST have a valid TX Learner's Permit to register for this program.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: The package is a 3-month program. All 3 lessons need to be completed within three months. All appointments will be scheduled through your online account.

12 days of class from 5p-7p.

Driver's Permit

Students must complete 6 hours (3 days) of class instruction. Students are then tested and issued a state certificate to present to DPS along with a birth certificate, verification of enrollment at high school, two forms of identification verifying Texas residency (report card, SS card, or student ID), two forms of ID for parent (insurance card, voter ID, bank statement, work badge), and notarized application.

Course Completion

Once the student has completed all 24 classroom hours and 14 behind-the-wheel hours, they will receive a state completion certificate. Students are also provided a certificate qualifying them for automobile insurance discounts. See your insurance agent for details.
